This direction was pitched to the Volkswagen Group for Scout – the revival of an iconic American brand. Focusing on restoring a beloved brand with authentic American heritage and a passionate community, we developed an iconic symbol connected to history, freedom, and landscape. The visual system took direct inspiration from the brand's vintage ads, keeping the unique equity and bringing the modern look at the same time.
