HANGUL IN GOLDEN RATIO

Typeface Design

Inspired by the modular typeface originally designed by Ahn Sang-soo, this Hangul typeface adapts a new grid system made in golden ratio. All the letters are designed and organized based on the grid in a strict manner with no exception. By doing so, it breaks the traditional rules in assembling characters in Hangul and presents them in an unfamiliar yet interesting rhythm.
