Typeface Design

Tribus is a low contrast serif typeface with translation contrast, created as a final project in the Type@Cooper Condensed Program. It is designed to be highly functional, especially for newspapers. A generous x-height, short descenders and small uppercases emphasize the sense of horizontality, providing an easy reading experience.
